From the firing range to the art studio, Hermione thrives in the unexpected. Whether she’s leading cadets through fieldcraft exercises, researching the evolution of lacrosse for her EPQ, or translating movement into bold brushstrokes, she approaches every opportunity with purpose, passion, and adventure. A proud corporal in the Royal Marines section of the Sherborne CCF, Hermione has embraced the opportunities it offers for leadership, discipline, and personal growth. |
From weapon handling to combat scenarios, she has continually pushed herself beyond her comfort zone. Now responsible for teaching and leading a section of ten younger cadets, she thrives as a mentor and role model. The chance to work alongside Sherborne Boys in joint CCF activities has added a new dimension to her leadership experience; one that fosters teamwork, communication, and mutual respect in a shared environment. |

Hermione is currently studying A-level Art, BTEC Sports Science, and completing an EPQ. This blend allows her to explore both creative and structured pathways. As a practical and visual learner, she excels in the expressive freedom of art, while the BTEC offers a balance of coursework and exams that plays to her strengths. |
Shas also embraced the wider benefits of Sherborne’s Sixth Form community. Through academic collaboration and shared enrichment sessions with Sherborne Boys, she has gained fresh perspectives and new approaches to learning while enjoying the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of Sixth Form socials. These shared experiences have broadened her horizons and added real joy to her final years at school. |
