Jack The Maker |

Jack’s love of sport is matched only by his flair for design. Creative to his core, he built a go-kart from scratch and successfully steered it round the School’s race circuit, cheered on by a delighted crowd of pupils, parents, and staff. An aspiring engineer, Jack handcrafts chopping boards from upcycled oak off-cuts. His inspiration? A family legacy of woodwork. His father transforms whisky barrels into ice baths, and his grandfather built award-winning boats. |
Jack’s apple and lemon-shaped boards are beautifully finished, and he personalises them with a laser engraver. They make popular gifts at local markets. Keen to grow his small business, Jack even ran a stall at the Sherborne Festive Shopping Day. He’s learning fast, thinking big, and carving out his own path. We’re excited to see where his ideas take him next. |
